Film Fashion F1 checks into The Thompson Hotel Toronto
Hearing heels clicking and seeing collars being adjusted, you knew you were surrounded by the beautiful people of Toronto sharing a glamorous night out. FilmFashionF1 2010 hosted its second annual event on October 19, 2010 at the Thompson Hotel showcasing an exhibit by DWNDCLOTHING.COM featuring spring looks by Moncler & Linda Farrow. With its avant-garde pieces and composed models, the indication for how the night was progressing was definitely looking up.

Back in June 2010, Pulp&Fiber held a fabulous gala at the Opus Hotel in Montreal that involved a live performance from the talented Sam Roberts, along with appearances from Formula One drivers, embodying a Grand Prix vibe.
Rewind to September 16, 2009 during the Toronto International Film Festival, Pulp&Fiber, an advertising and design boutique along with its global partners, F1 Play, Sutton, and Tag Heuer, hosted an event that embodied luxury and of course, fashion. Hence, where the name FilmFashionF1 took its course. In support of “Abruzzo,” meaning in the heart with its efforts going towards the victims of the devastating earthquake that occurred in April of that year. Hosted by eTalk Canada’s Ben Mulroney, a silent auction was the highlight of the night. With models serving Formula One race memorabilia throughout the Windsor Arms Hotel, it was a huge incentive that brought everyone out for a great cause that raised over $25,000.
P&F also hosted the official after party at Ultra Supper Club for Hayden Christensen and Thandie Newton’s flick, “Vanished on 7th Street” during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September of 2010.
This lead to another successful outcome for FilmFashionF1 event with the help of Bacardi, Nadege, Eligible Inc. and Blo, making it yet another explosive hit during this year’s LG Fashion Week.
