We’ve been busy here at Community promoting innovation from 3D printing to robotic helicopter cameras. Recently we had the pleasure of printing 3D ornaments in the shape of the Schwarzkopf Professional Canada logo for the Ronald McDonald House holiday trees.

We printed just under 45 ornaments, each about the size of a fist, and then spray painted them with a shine finish. Our 3D printer of choice for this initiative was  of the MakerBot variety. The whole printing time took less then day, a small price to pay for custom ornaments.

It was a very exciting project to be part of and we are honoured to have such thoughtful, forward thinking clients who embrace technology and creativity. What type of designs would you choose if you could 3D print your own ornaments? Let us know in the comments and have a safe and happy holiday!
