This week Canada celebrated advertising  thanks to the fine folks of ICA (Institute of Communication Agencies) who have hosted the event for the past six years.  The first of many amazing conferences in the new year that engage and educate members of the Advertising and Marketing workforce.

The Community team kicked off FFWD: Advertising and Marketing Week by attending Notable.ca’s Young Professionals party Monday night at The Spoke Club and the Toronto Star cocktail party on Tuesday.  The 5-day celebration brought together the entire industry from students to seasoned veterans and media with international speakers, parties, awards and galas.  FFWD Advertising & Marketing Week has something for everyone.  Some of the key speakers have included Kevin Kelly, Senior Maverick Wired magazine, Colonel Chris Hadfield, Astronaut and Former Commander of the International Space Station and Jerry Wind, Lauder Professor, Professor of Marketing Wharton.
