Save a Child’s Heart Canada 4th Annual UnGala

Here at Community, we work with a diverse array of clients spanning industry verticals in different advertising mediums from digital to social to experiential to production to branding. One of our longer non-profit clients is the Save a Child’s Heart Foundation which is committed to saving children’s lives by improving the quality and accessibility of cardiac care. They work closely with their partner in Israel to provide free, life-saving surgery to children from developing countries and to train surgeons and other medical team members from those countries, helping them build their own future centres of competence.

One of our recent digital projects completed is a global website for SaveAChildsHeart.ca, which consisted of a multi-layerd CMS system, showcasing each child by the nation that has been helped as a result of the organization. Unique templates were designed and dedicated to the three countries currently involved; Canada, USA and Israel. Community led the creative of the project and managed over 200 web pages into conception which showcased over 200 recipients who have received surgery.

This week the Community team had the honour of attending Save a Child’s Heart Canada 4th annual UnGala event to raise funds to save children around the world with congenital and acquired heart defects who have almost no chance of surviving to adulthood in their native countries. The event raised over $700,000 dollars thanks to the generous contributions of many Canadians.
